CURVED WILJAM

Result

To enrich the environment Tehomet was given assignment to design lighting poles that would fit into the landscape. The result was custom-made curved poles, 9 meter in height, manufactured from glulam timber. Glulam structure enables prefabrication, so that the electrical cable can pass through inside the pole. On sight, these poles give an unique tunnel like presence when they are bend over the road. Doubled structured poles were designed in to resting area and in between the structure there is an ornament made out of steel tubes in a shape of "W". This is a homage and indication to the name of the road.
